Subject Lookup (Previously termed "Quick Find") is an essential aspect of using TomeRaider efficiently and successfully. It allows you to move through refrence works of any size litterlay as fats as you can type.
To use Subject Lookup simply start typing the term you are looking for and, in real time, the Subject View will move to that position. Furthermore you can see the word you are typing at the bottom of the Subject View.
For Example: Open up the IMDB movie file in and start typing the name of a movie, say, “Starsky and Hutch”. As you type you will see the Subject View scroll to match what you have typed so far. Once you have got to “Starsk” the page view will already be displaying the entry for “Starsky and Hutch”. It is that simple.
Notes:
1. The Subject Lookup term will be automatically cleared after 30 seconds or you can manually clear it by pressing the escape key.
2. If the term is not in the index then you will be taken to the closest sequential match.
3. In the bottom of the Subject View you can see and edit the word that is currently being looked up.
4. If your search target is not available, then the subject lookup will become red color. |
